Welcome to Corgis in Paradise, where our love for Corgis runs deep. We are a family-owned breeding program with a passion for breeding top-quality AKC Pembroke Welsh Corgis. We take pride in our heritage of raising healthy and happy Corgis.
Our love for dogs began at a very young age, circa back to Dillon's puppy wallpaper as a child. (Still there.) And who could forget my (Laken's) first best friend, Angel. The cutest, most fluffy, spunkiest roadside treasure my 5-year-old self could find. I read ALL the books to prove to my parents that I was ready to begin my journey as a dog mom.
While both of us have been around many breeds growing up, it wasn't quite until college that we found love at first sight. Each other? Maybe. But the corgi named Einstein a few doors down, for SURE. The intelligence, personality, whit, and caring corgi breed captivated our hearts from that day forward. Flash forwards a few years and here you have it. Married and breeding AKC Pembroke Welsh Corgis. Together, we're determined to continue the breed so that many families much like ours - can experience the true joy a corgi brings.
Years ago, I moved from Almost Heaven, West Virginia to follow my heart down to his family's multigenerational cattle ranch in Paradise, Texas. A decision I would make in every lifetime. Along with the corgis. Growing up on a ranch surrounding by animals, Dillon's nurture for animals comes honest. His work ethic is unmatched. Being a rancher, means he is an expert in animal care, behavior, and genetics, thanks to many years of hands-on experience. Add in my background in healthcare, our teamwork is priceless.
Our corgis are part of our family, the ranch, and our hearts. They bring joy to our daily lives with their playful spirit and loyal companionship, making every moment on the ranch even more special.
